PLEASE BE CAREFUL: Please make good decisions about using technology to share your emotions! Sharing your happy or sad thoughts (excited or angry thoughts) can be very dangerous to your relationships to your friends in the Performing Arts Department, as well as your future in the Choir and Theater Department. If you don’t get the role that you have been hoping for, please take some time away from your phone and your computer. ALSO, if you DO get the role that you have been hoping for, be careful of what you put into print! You could easily crush a friend if they didn’t get the role that they have dreamed of. Be conscious and caring about your relationships with your friends. Also know that if you spew poison on Facebook, know in advance that you will be burning many bridges for the rest of the year. THINK – WAIT and then respond. This is written in love from your directors! Once again we'd like to congratulate everyone for auditioning for this show. Also, congratulations for those of you who made the call-backs. It was a tough cast list to make in many ways. Please understand that, if you feel some disappointment because you did not land in the part you dreamed you would, or even make it into the show, we sympathize with you. Each of the directors have had this experience from time to time, so we do feel with you. However, we ask that you trust in us, your directors, to have made the best decisions for the show and to know that those decisions are made on so much more than just how you sang your song. We kept all people in mind first for other solos and key parts throughout the show. You all earned that. To the leads: Congratulations. Be proud of what you have accomplished, but also be aware that many very talented friends of yours may be hurting a bit right now and please proceed with kindness and generosity. The bottom line is that this is an ENSEMBLE show and we need each and everyone of you to make it great. Our work, as a team, is just beginning. The first rehearsal is this Monday, at 1:25 in the choir room. This is DURING the PLC time. Please be on time. If you get caught out in the hallway you will be sent to the cafeteria and will be stuck there. You must not be late. Bring an empty binder notebook. A pencil and a water bottle. NO PEN.
