October 10, 2010 Good Morning Everyone, I stepped back several times yesterday in amazement at how many people showed up on a beautiful sunny Saturdayafternoon and helped out with WLW's show. It truly is a sight to behold. I would like to thank EVERYONE who came out and helped with our first Techapalooza of the year. I know from a set-construction point of view it was a HUGE SUCCESS. Believe it or not, we are only HALF WAY THERE. We still need your help! I will be on-stage this week Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 9:00. If possible, please join us. I also wanted to remind you our second Techapalooza will be October 22, 23 and 24, the ENTIRE weekend. This is our final push before we begin running the show with tech everyday. Things are really coming together, come join the fun. Also, spread help spread the word. Doug Bevier Set Construction Coordinator Walled Lake Western High School 248.505.5765 Items to bring: Coffee! TECH CREWS, unlike the cast and the orchestra, do not have the same schedules every week. Depending on the different crews and the projects being worked on, your crews will meet as posted. We will post the crew schedules on the stage door, as well as on the TECH PAGE on the website, wlwmusical.com.
For Hairspray, the technical demands are still there as everything must be designed, built, painted, sewn and flown to look as though it’s from the early 60’s. A lot of FLY CREW for this show as well. It’s an amazing experience which you won’t want to miss. So much more to tell you about…find out more in September or go to the website. Questions, just ask.
